A Bit About Deborah
In a nutshell – I coach acting techniques for beginners through to working professionals. I also prepare pupils who wish to apply for full time drama schools in London.
I am a dedicated skilled actress, coach and theatre professional with decades of experience both on stage and behind the scenes – performing, coaching, casting and production. I specialize in coaching adult aspiring actors—especially those discovering their passion for performance later in life.
Committed to nurturing talent and building confidence in performers of all backgrounds. My journey in theatre has been multifaceted – ranging from directing and teaching acting skills, to production management and costume supervision for small-scale West End productions. My roles in tv and film are varied, from acting, casting, children’s on set drama coach for the BBC and costume designer.
Over the years, I’ve worked as a Production Manager on small West End productions, as well as wardrobe and casting. This has given me a 360-degree understanding of the theatre world, which I now bring to my coaching. Whether you’re stepping into the spotlight for the first time or preparing for your first audition, I provide grounded, practical guidance informed by real industry experience in an easy abc step.
I have a deep appreciation for the collaborative nature of theatre and bring a wealth of hands- on industry knowledge to every class, rehearsal room, and production I’m involved in. Whether guiding adults students in refining their craft or supporting the behind-the-scenes execution of a show, I approach each role with utmost professionalism, creativity, and a love for the art of storytelling.
My work with a leading production company has further refined my insight into the industry’s demands and expectations, allowing me to prepare students with both the creative and practical skills necessary for success.
But more than anything I love coaching and watching students grow.
